Lookism (외모지상주의, lit. "Looks Supremacy") is a South Korean manhwa written and illustrated by Taejoon Park. First serialized on Naver Webtoon in 2014, the series has since been officially translated into multiple languages and published worldwide through Webtoon. As of 2026, Lookism has surpassed 600 chapters and remains one of the longest-running and most successful webtoons in Korea, earning international recognition for its exploration of social issues such as appearance-based discrimination, bullying, social inequality, crime, and youth culture. Set in Seoul, the story follows Daniel Park (Park Hyung-seok), an overweight high school student who is constantly bullied because of his appearance. After transferring to a new school, he mysteriously gains a second body that is tall, handsome, and physically perfect. Living between two completely different bodies, Daniel experiences society from opposing perspectives while searching for the truth behind his supernatural ability. What begins as a story about discrimination and self-worth gradually expands into a vast narrative involving gangs, underground organizations, family legacies, and the hidden secrets surrounding the origin of the two bodies.,
